Dear OCAW-MD Members & Friends, Happy Asian & Pacific Islander American Month! Our cousin organization OCA-DC has graciously invited OCAW to join their table at the 5th Annual National Asian Heritage Festival a.k.a. "Fiesta Asia" on Saturday, May 22 (10 am - 7 pm) in the Nation's Capital at Pennsylvania Avenue, NW between 3rd & 6th Streets. The Fiesta Asia is another opportunity for us to gain name recognition for our organization. Camilla Ng & I will be there representing OCAW, handing out the Opera International flyer, the OCAW flyer I created for the Pet Fiesta, as well as selling some of the remaining Mandarin style doggy jackets, envelopes and gift tags. If you have time to help out or just want to attend the Fiesta, please let us know so we can provide you with our table location once we have it. Dear OCAW Members, Friends, and Family,
 
As many of you know, we participated in the annual Pet Fiesta at Reston Town Center on 5/1/10.  The event was beautiful and we were able to raise awareness on our organization & our causes (Opera International & the United Maltese Rescue).
 
Because we have a few extra unsold dog/bunny jackets, we are offering them to our members, families, and friends at $15 each or $39 for 3 jackets.  These Mandarin jackets make great gifts and are oh-so-cute!  Please see the attached photos for details.  We have available Sizes XXS through L (these would fit rabbits, cats, and small dogs [breeds would include Chihuahuas, Shih-tzus, Yorkshire terriers, Scottish terriers, Pugs, Malteses, Miniature poodles, etc.). In fact, I have bought 3 jackets (one medium for my shih-tzu, one small blue for my maltese and one small red for my morkie Ginger...she's a maltese/yorkie). Please e-mail me for available sizes.
 
We also ask that you forward this e-mail (and photos) to anyone you know who may be interested in purchasing these unique jackets to help our cause--a percentage of all proceeds are donated to animal rescue organizations.  On behalf of the OCAW Board, I thank you for your support and hope to hear from you!
